Extremely long load times

I was wondering if this is a common problem? Sometimes like when in FP going between portions of the city it only takes about 30 seconds to load. But when zoning between larger outdoor zones it sometimes takes upwards of two minutes, to the point I think it froze. It is not a game breaker but it would make life a lot easier. I am playing on a pretty decent laptop so I know it is not the computer. I have Aion installed and it loads a lot quicker even though it is a pretty new game. Any fixes?

I think i have a similar problem with the zone line between nek / ec. but it's completely random and i think it only really takes effect if i minimise eq when zoning. Doesn't happen often enough for me to call it a genuine problem though.
