I kind of want to try raiding in EQ. The constant toxicity & drama here kinda scare me tho tbh.

im glad u asked. being pals with a chad can have deleterious consequences among your peers.

as one of the most blacklisted of the chadistan nation on red, i think it is a difficult thing to be this chad. merely knowing a chad was grounds for several of my best dawgs to be excoriated from several social grps. should the opportunity for u to become friends with a chad present itself, DENY THEM LIKE PETER if the chaste nation dare question ur relationship with christ.

Like everything else here when it comes to raiding the forums don't reflect the in-game reality.

Now, I wouldn't go so far as to say raiding is tons of fun ... or at least not after your first 1-2 times beating a given encounter ... but it's also nothing like the forums make it seem. Just as a for instance, I've been raiding 1-2 times a week for half a year or so now, and only once have I been present for any sort of drama with another guild (and even them training us didn't ruin our night, it just wasted a bit of time).

If you're interested in trying raiding out I'd recommend apping with Anonymous, as they are one of the (I'm sure there are several) great guilds for raiding-newbies.

(NOTE: I'm not an officer or anything, just speaking as a regular member.)
