EQEmuLauncher Version 1.1 Released! Multiclient support + auto launcher updates etc

180 downloads and almost 100.000 serverlist requests this month. gogo =)


i got 3x feedback.. 2 of them were regarding problems with spell gem icons:
if you set up your everquest for p99 and THEN use the launcher to connect to other servers, you dont give the launcher a chance to back up files you delete/change for p99, so those cant be recovered for servers where the original file is needed, thats why it is recommended to use a fresh titanium version befor using the launcher

the other one was a problem with windows 7 not saving the config file and having problems with downloads and/or patching.. this is caused by UAC (User Account Control of Windows) not allowing access to certain files. if your EQEmuLauncher folder and EverQuest folder have the correct access rights or you have UAC disabled, it should work!

The auto-update client thing is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!
This thing should be required for P99 since it's the dead easiest way to stay up to date!

im still working on the eqemulauncher version 2.0 - i just havent much time for it [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
however, the php interface is almost done now..

I am computer retarded. Is this necessary for playing on the P99 server? I don't Play on any other server.

Its not necessary. It is convenient however, it will update any new files p99 is using. If you dont use the launcher, you have to manually download new files and extract them to the correct place.
