Boxxing on live definitely did exist.
But should it here? I believe the rules against boxxing has been a big part of the success of project 1999, and would only expect these rules to carry over to the pvp server. This is a great idea, a pvp version of project 1999. And I think it should be just that; an extension of what made Project 1999 a success with the elements of PVP intertwined. | ||

I really like the idea of not boxing. It was rough wielding a stein of whiskey and 2 boxes during pvp.

I've boxxed Monk/Shm Wiz/Rng and Shm/War.. I'd say the easiest 2box to manage was warrior/shmn. Warrior / Cleric is an extremely effective 2box that is easy to manage in PVP. Most people complaining about boxxing just plain suck at keeping a cool head during PVP.
That being said I look forward to a one box pvp server. This whole board of bluebies and hardass vets makes me giggle. Everquest is not a hard game, especially when you have the entire information for everything memorized/at your fingertips. Four factors will control Red 99. 1.) Numbers 2.) Organization 3.) Good Players 4.) Time Commitment That's how you win a PVP server, a mix and match of those 4 factors. To be a bad player you have to be: 1.) Mentally Retarded 2.) Lazy, lazy on a fucking computer game. 3.) Suck at life in general and translate your shitty life into creating a shitty EQ life. 4.) Unwillingness to learn if your a newb. I'd say literally EQ Live PVP experience amounts to maybe 25% of kicking ass on Red99. Yeah you'll have your bases covered on pumice/resist gear/pvp items, big deal. So will everyone else thats played eqemu pvp.
