Newbie Paladin/Wizard Quests?

Hey everyone,

My friend just started playing for the first time as a Human Paladin in Qeynos (Rodcet Nife). Does anyone have any suggestions for some low level (5-10) quests we could do for armor/weapons for him?

Also any suggestions for newbie wizard quests would be great too! Gnolls fangs are great but don't yield any nice items [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Classic EQ didn't really have quests for low-level gear. The standard operation for new clerics is something like this:

1) Save Money
2) Go to EC
3) Buy Banded

That said, there is a 4 WIS shoulder you can get in CB by handing in the Bracer of Battle.

My suggestion, get up to around level 9 and duo the bandits out in the Karanas for their sashes. Can be turned in for Bronze weapons in Qeynos. Good starting money.

Good suggestions, I'll see if we can save up for some banded + go in the karanas. Any suggestions for wiz gear?
