game gets dark/blackened after playing for little bit

dont know how long its been happening, but ahwile now

I open the client and login and after 30mins or an hour or so, my game turns super dark. I have to turn the game up (even though its already maxed) to get it back to normal-ish.

after a couple of minutes it just goes back to being dark though

what is this and how do i fix it?

You have night time hours enabled in windows. I guess you log on before sunset?
