Default Wizard Portals/Gates

Levels for the following spells need to be corrected:

Iceclad Portal: 33 --> 39
Great Divide Portal: 36 --> 44
Wakening Lands Portal: 42 --> 44
Cobalt Scar Portal: 43 --> 44
Iceclad Gate: 32 --> 34



The Skyshrine vendor for the wizard portal spells (Guardian Trekolz) will not be added until Jan 24, 2001:

Portal Vendor To Be Patched:
Ya, but when? You ask. Well, Ester the Tester posted about it, there's no definite date on when it will be patched with the correct spell of Great Divide Portal instead of Iceclad. Here's her quote from the Bug Board -

There was a problem unfortunately and the spell was missed
It will be fixed the next time we patch data... that is the best I can do sorry =(

Even though they blew it, I can at least respect Ester for replying.

The bummer is that there is no set date for the next patch. Rumors are up to 3 weeks out. Ouch!

Skyshrine Portal Vendor:
Yesterday, Verant introduced our vendor to the world that supplies us with our Velious portal spells. However, there are a couple issues with this vendor.

The vendor carries 3 portals.. but not the correct three. It seems that instead of putting the Great Divide Portal on the vendor, Iceclad Portal is in it's place. So the three portals the vendor carries are Wakening Lands, Cobalt Scar, and Iceclad.
Many are having faction issues with this vendor, resulting in not being able to purchase. If this is the case, the quick fix is to find someone with good faction to buy your spells for you or bring an enchanter or bard to correct the issue.

Portal Vendor Location:
This is taken from an e-mail I just recieved.

Zone: Skyshrine
Vendor: Guardian Trekolz
Location: +322, -874 This is a secret area. In order to find it, Enter Skyshrine. Go through the first gate, turn left. At the next intersection, turn left and then an immediate right. Go up the stairs then take the first right. Go all the way to the end of this hall, past all the doors then turn left. This hallway will dead end, but at the dead end you fall through to the spell vendor room.
Ignore the above location and follow this map. =)

While I appreciate the desire to follow the time line, it was the wizarding community's understanding that this was an oversight - not a planned delay in implementation. Druids ports were in game immediately and everyone thought that the wizards just hadn't found the vendor yet.

I will put them on the vendors for testing, but when on Velious live release, will likely be rule based to proper point on timeline.

Can I get a list of all the port spells (druid and wizard) available in Velious that are not currently on the merchants?

i.e. is this correct and what else?

Is "Translocate" the TL to bind or is Translocate: Bind a different spell?

Could this please fall into the Donals BP category of implementation on day 1? What does it change in dynamics if druids can port day 1, but wizards cannot? This wasn't a planned delayed implementation on SOE's part, this was an oops. The spells existed day one, they just forgot to put them on a vendor.

Spells haven't been adjusted for velious beta yet. We are waiting for some backend changes before we can start mass-fixing them.
