Corrupt guard quest question

So last night a druid was killing guards at the guard tower 2 in West Commons. He let me loot their bracers and suggested i look up the quest on the wiki as the exp should be great at my level (14). My concern is that the bracers dropped from guards that were not listed in the quest description on the wiki and i don't want to get killed by the quest guard Captain when i turn in those bracers. How would I know if the bracers i have are the correct ones to avoid a gruesome death? Thanks in advance. The guards he was killing were Guard Kilson and one of the others whose name i dont recall

You could ask a caster to cast Identify on you while your holding the bracer to see if its a Corrupt or Loyal Guard Bracelet
