Steamfont crashed a few minutes ago. The kobold camps are spawning a lot slower than they were before the crash, which is even slower than they were spawning last night. Hope this hasn't actually changed and it's just a function of server population.

thats seems about right? This game isnt meant to be blown through in a month......

40 hours in Im level 11, and ive been basically consistently grouped and exping, that seems about right so far and ABSOLUTELY SHOULD slow down.

It was definitely some kind of dynamic coding the past few days. I would sit on a double gnoll spot..... sometimes 60 sec respawn, sometimes 3 minutes. would be interested to hear the system but probably for the best to keep it private.

40 hours to 11? actually kinda slower than normal

I was talking to someone today who was grouped with the first level 10 on the server. Apparently what happened was they set up a script to decrease spawn rate based on people leveling up. The moment that guy hit level 10, mobs globally started spawning at normal rate level 6 and above, before that guy hitting level 10, all levels of mobs had fast respawn.

Now that someone hit another level, the script went off again.

might factor in the fact that the first 8 or so was spent killing 2-4 spawn points all night :-D

It changed once the first guy hit level 10. They created a script based off of people leveling up that changed spawn rate. When the server launched all leveled mobs were spawning fast. Once that dude hit level 10, only level 5 and under mobs had fast respawn...that's why if you were camping a lizard camp, you would see skipped spawns.

I figured it out this morning.

The fast spawns were still in place 100% early this AM, long after many had hit 10.
