Default game completely unplayable now

cant even get a rez without game crashing....like wtf happened since patch??

crashing every single zone and getting error 1018 when logging back in...kicked out for 5 mins each time.

or half the time saying im missing the files at char select.. like seriously what the hell happened to the game now since patch??

think its time to goto roz

typically if you know that your files are up to date, a reboot of the PC will fix it. However, with everything constantly crashing I would check out if you need to run the game as admin or in compatibility mode.

Otherwise you may want to do a reinstall just to make sure that the files are not corrupted. Although if its letting you login and still crashing soon after, might want to try putting the p99 folder as an exception in your antivirus. This sounds like its a AV catching a file or something like that. So reinstall the files from p99 and put in exception list of AV and see if that helps, then try a reinstall if still having an issue.

im having the same issues but nothing has worked
full clean install
i cannot get it to go in to legacy mode because launch titanium isnot a exe

Find eqgame.exe and right click it. Then select properties and click the compatibility tab. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)". Also, check "Run this program as administrator".

At least this worked for me to reduce crashes on zoning.
