Click on priest of discord. Hit Q.
That’s your initiation into classic EQ.
Back in my day it was A. Q is totally not classic. I remember a bunch of times trying to talk to npc's to respond, "What is--" *Dies*

So first of all, if you're not a Dark Elf then delete and start one. All new players should start in Neriak. All the other places are too plain, too fruity, or too dirty. How you gonna have your introduction to EQ fighting rats in some sewer shithole? Check out the magnificent purple neon, breathe in that cold cold air, hail Seloxia Punox.
For me its all about that decadent and cloying jungle smell of Cabilis man, but no luck still, close second would be dirty sewer Bertie enhanced Qeynos Sewers and third Neriak to be honest.
