Ring of the Dead on Green/Teal
https://wiki.project1999.com/Ring_of_the_Dead
Has anyone gotten one yet? Is the quest working as intended and is the recharge quest functioning?

Yet another example of Selective Classicism?

It's my understanding you only get the Ring of the Dead if you have Ally faction. Is that the case?
If so, it's possible no one has achieved this on a DE Necro or Shadowknight, since it will require a lot of grinding of a very small number of mobs: the Gnome in Crushbone, two particular Gnomes in LFay, or one or two more Gnomes elsewhere. See The Dead on the Wiki.

Amiable to obtain, warmly to recharge, assuming it's the same as it was on Blue (it should be).
Currently usable by all from inventory, but nerfed to must equip before Kunark(per resolved bug report from Blue classic era). FYI Ally factions don't exist for a long time.

I suggest anyone doing this have a friend raise up a dark elf necro to level four then bind them at the turn in guy so you can just hand over your thex mallets and mallet stems ready to become thex mallets then let them gate away. A wizard bound there with the nec to gate them back to WC spires would be best if people are serious about getting complete heal swords and rings of the dead.
