Miscellaneous: Yew leaves

I am somewhat convinced that the yew leaves are not spawning exactly like classic.

We originally put in the yew leaves during beta. But after feedback from both people here and people in my guild, and my own extensive searching in WL, I don't think that there are enough yew leaves and or, they are spawning frequently enough. The average of finding a yew leaf around even with the map and locs available to us is over an hour to none at all in an hour and a half of searching.

Personally I can find between 3-5 a yew leaves an hour. With these methods.

I realize this is a bit weak for hard proof, but after checking all the locs from every allah's post I can find, using the above walkthrough, and walking around in WL like an idiot for an hour and a half tonight (for my fourth night in a row), I still am coming up deplorably bare on yew leaves.

24/7? I've had half a dozen guildies spend hours out there in the past two weeks looking for these ground spawns, is this the same iceclad problem where they only appear if you log back in right next to them?

bump- spent a lot of time looking for a single ground spawn. none to be found...
