Default Having trouble after re-installing Titanium.

Just got done doing a fresh install of titanium, but I'm having problems...

When running the client via Eqgame.exe, I'm getting random crashes.

When trying to use EqEmu (what I was using before the re-install), it tells me "Eqgame.exe could not be veried. Your client might not be supported."

Kinda at a loss on how to fix this. Any ideas?

Yes, I can log into the game, but seem to get the crashes when not using EqEmu... however... can't go back to using EqEmu due to stated error in OP. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I managed to fix the problem with EqEmu by downloading and installing it via Duxa UI located here: https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=28335

Ok, so by the sounds of your description, your running your own EQEmu server. However EQEmu is not required to play P1999. Rather the only requirements are your registered login, and the P1999 specific modifications to the EQ install, but by no means do those modifications install EQEmu, just the ability to connect to the P1999 sanctioned EQEmu servers.

If you could paste the contents of your dbg.txt file located at:

<eq_installdir>\Logs\dbg.txt


This will help me determine what the application is encountering.

Sure. Although, the EQemu variant from the all-in-one installer I linked fixed my problem (just have to run it "as administrator"). I suspect that when I run EQ "regularly" and connect to p99, it's an issue with my laptop's videos modes ,as the crashes were only happening on logging/zoning with a memory error.

Sure. Although, the EQemu variant from the all-in-one installer I linked fixed my problem (just have to run it "as administrator"). I suspect that when I run EQ "regularly" and connect to p99, it's an issue with my laptop's videos modes ,as the crashes were only happening on logging/zoning with a memory error.
Running the EQ client or the WinEQ2 client as administrator allows the game/application access to the HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) and allows the software to interface with and work properly with the hardware. Without using the "Run As Administrator" function, the OS doesn't allow access to the hardware for what the application needs.

I'm happy you resolved your issue.
