Pediatric groups declare national emergency over children's mental health

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and Children's Hospital Association urged lawmakers in a statement to act swiftly to address the crisis.

"Children's mental health is suffering," AAP President Lee Savio Beers said in the statement. "Young people have endured so much throughout this pandemic and while much of the attention is often placed on its physical health consequences, we cannot overlook the escalating mental health crisis facing our patients.

Kids can't vote yet so what do politicians care. Need to save Grandma by keeping those kids at home and getting them vaccinated right away.
