Spells: pacify and cha

ok so im normaly rolling around at 245 cha, valadus 50 enc, pacify resists like mad with this amount of cha, i drop my cha buff, unequipped my cha doll, and pacify works like a charm again...... is it supost to be this way ? solb, bats, beetles, imps, elementals

Charisma only affects the chance of critical resist (ie, the mob aggroing you). It doesn't affect the resist rate of the spell.

Higher cha means the mob is less likely to aggro you if you get a resist, otherwise it's a straight MR check.

What is the rate at 200+ Cha? I seem to get a critical resist 1 out of 10 times
