Hmm, perhaps that's being presumptuous. The time someone spends grouping is not in any relation to thier skill level, even for necros.

Remember high end necro's twitch for group mana, do some impressive dps, can snare, as well as even heal in groups sometimes.

The real question is this: why play an online MMO if your intent is to play by yourself?
Even some necros occasionally like to be social. Sometimes it's nice not having to kite.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, just looking for some advice on WW Giant fort. What's the best way to handle these as a necro? I attempted it at 23, pulled a single giant, dotted him up and feared him, but he then headed straight for the middle of the camp, which I assumed was about to pull a ton of adds so I quickly FD'd. Whats the best way to handle the fort as a necro? Tried looking up specific strategies, but didn't have any luck. Thanks for any help.

There's 2 entrances, one of them has a really obvious hill on it. I tend to med and pull to there... in fact I don't think I even feared the giants, just snared and dotted, then ran around for a while with the pet beating on him. You don't get as much dps per tick that way but they still go down [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Make sure you have your 24 pet when you get the level, makes it A LOT easier [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Swish laid it out pretty well.

If you pull the giants out to there, past the bridge, you can fear and dot them up all day without extra adds. Just two to be careful of the entrance spawn and the patrol that walks to the entrance.

A second place to fear is within the fort - there is a large hill by the other entrance. If you let the giant get towards the top of it before you fear they pretty much stay right on that hill.

That's about all I remember. I did WW months ago.

Pretty much what he says. You can't get in a hurry there. VERY social mobs.
