Wizard Epic MQ

Has anyone done a Wizard MQ since the most recent patch? Just asking to make sure it is still possible. Also, how does one guarantee the items will not get eaten? Just making sure the spawned Arantir after note will do dialogue after being hailed? Can another wizard who already has epic be safe to do the MQ if he regains the lost faction from his own turn in? Can they redo the quest to regain the lost faction to meet the requirements?

If this information already exists. Please point me in the right direction.
