Goddammit Ennewi, not you too.

I was a huge fan of your videos...

Also, you should know that an appeal to an authority is a logical fallacy.

Hawking is smart, but he has political biases like anyone else.

Damn, even a "lowest common denominator" Trump supporter like me knows that...

Apparently Stephen Hawking thinks black people are the "lowest common denominator".

At least I can walk and talk like a human, cripple boy.

Hawking was a catastrophist who was frequently wrong in almost every single one of his predictions. The only reason why he got the support from the establishment that he did was because he was furthering the catastrophist narrative.

We should ask Stephen Hawking about Everquest.

Since he was a famous physicist surely he'll be a great source of information on the topic of MMORPGs from 1999.

This is where you stop listening.

The sad part is today's "Higher Education" primarily consists of conjuring imaginary boogeymen to pin the blame of all personal and societal ills on.

Public figures being scrutinized more, not less, benefits the public they are meant to represent, even when they don't represent them in an official capacity, as with Hawking.

Of all the criticism higher education deserves, and it's deserving of a lot, that isn't one of them.

Yes, Higgs boson being one of the most well-known. So we've read the same articles, but that itself amounts to less than making elaborate speculations that end up being incorrect. Also, if we're going to measure a man by his predictions, than let's include the elephant in the room.

That's precisely the problem. The world needs less fans. It makes no sense to be emotionally invested in or defensive of any politician / celebrity / random youtuber other than on a basic human level of not wishing harm upon them.

I don't presume to know how a brain more intelligent than mine operates. Awareness of bias, and of the unconscious, likely means that one is more capable of making pointed observations rather than purely subjective judgments.

You tell me not to be a fan of someone and then you go and claim that Hawking is so smart that he isn't capable of being anything but objective...

You should look at yourself before you lecture anyone, bud.

Just because you're smart doesn't mean you're invulnerable to having biased subjective opinions.

That's one of the most strange things I've ever heard anyone say.

At times, Trump evinced less rage than a lack of interest. Sims recounts one time when Ryan was in the Oval Office explaining the ins and outs of the Republican health-care bill to the president. As Ryan droned on for 15 minutes, Trump sipped on a glass of Diet Coke, peered out at the Rose Garden, stared aimlessly at the walls and, finally, walked out.

Ryan kept talking as the president wandered down the hall to his private dining room, where he flicked on his giant flat-screen TV. Apparently, he had had enough of Ryan’s talk. It fell to Vice President Pence to retrieve Trump and convince him to return to the Oval Office so they could continue their strategy session.
