Default Do people still play P99?

I quit playing after getting a few toons in my 50s, but I'm curious why you all continue to play. I had my fill of nostalgia

Nobody actually plays anymore, we all just make up stories on the forums about playing. All of the drama without the fuss

The Lorax makes me log in from time to time to make sure there's still trees.

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.

For most people its the allure of joining the back of a queue and moving slowly to the front.

P99 is a pretty good Britain simulator. I like to play EQ on that rare occasion when the weather is too nice to go outside. Almost thirty years of work have gone in to this greyish English pallor and I am not going to risk it now! Fortunately lots of arctic wind and rain at the moment as befits summer.

Hurrah for Britain!

I guess TunnelQuest does capture a certain market vibe here and we do like to gamble [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Like anywhere else I suppose, we play more in the winter when the weather is cold/wet/both.
