I think this is accurate. Most of the people there are acting on genuine beliefs no matter how unfounded. Were it not for the bricks, fireworks and abundant expletives, it is really no different than people attending church every Sunday. We find the same rates of obesity, self-loathing and rabid devotion to fabricated realities wherein virtue is piled upon he who clears the lowest bar.
Well put, I think it makes most of the protestors feel better in the moment. The obese or out of shape are getting some exercise out of it too at least. I don't think they should go regularly though if they live with people at high-risk of dying or getting very ill from Covid-19 though.

What if it is just to look cool though? 👀
Oh yeah, or you're at the range, whatever you want. Tacticool is all great if that's your thing. But if you're trying to be effective it means your weapon absolutely has to work, and that means when you pick it up of the ground after both you and it bounce off some concrete pillar. Reloading takes a lot less time if you're not worried about securing the empty magazine.

Why do people quibble so much over antifa being "a thing" or not? There are countless examples of far left self-identified communists and socialists violently assaulting people they deem political adversaries. Those are the people that anyone cares about, call them whatever you want, although antifa *does* have specific organized chapters in various parts of the country.
Because it's used as a buzzword to scare people. There are literally towns (backward shitholes where rubes live) scared into arming themselves and marching through their streets because Billy Ray Jim Bob posted on Facebook that he heard Antifa was coming in their white vans to shoot up some backwater town no one has heard of.

As I stated before, there is also a group of people dedicated to time travel. Also not a thing.

I think perhaps when a combat situation unfolds in those peoples’ minds, their imagined selves do not struggle with something as simple as reloading. They probably don’t even need to reload.

Also I like the word tacticool. I am going to assume that you didn’t invent this and that it is just more evidence that I live under a rock.

Yikes, try getting laid more. How is writing such rubbish fun to you?
I can't take credit for that "conservatives vs liberals" thing.

I found it in another forum, thought it was funny, copied and pasted it here.

You're right tho I should get laid more often, always good advice!

I've seen it before. I've also seen "Tactical Timmy" used similarly.
