Well I am in one of the bluest states and bluest capital cities.
The problem I guess is the pipes are very old and not designed how we would design them in 2016. They were supposed to seal them a certain way. The infrastructure becomes more and more toxic over time, with more and more leeching. Sediment is a huge catch-all. Our sediment is yellow and often sandy. The government doesn't warn us, as its handled as a private supplier liability. So our building does its best to warn us. It jammed my faucet in 1 sink because I was one of the first out of a few hundred residents to run my water without warning.

Don't worry though, in 2-4 years the california drought will be so bad that people will be getting water shipped in from all over, and its a blue as fuck state. But that will just be becuse of systematic abstinence of the warning signs that weve been seeing for years and years, that are getting louder and louder, by a complacent bunch of frogs in boiling water... Not becuse of a way to cut corners and pad pockets by a bunch of low IQ greedy red voter electorates. | |||
