I know how much people enjoy calling people they don't like Hitler, but being a racist and a strong nationalist doesn't make you a fascist. Hitler would have viewed Trump with contempt as a disgusting materialistic capitalist and likely in cahoots with pesky Jew Bolsheviks. Don't forget Hitler and his government ultimately wanted to build a welfare state, with universal healthcare, pensions, massive public works projects, land reform, aid for the impoverished, and cultural engineering designed to promote cohesion, compassion, and sympathy between "true Germans". The extent of Hitler's appreciation for free market economics was his respect for social Darwinism. Beyond that, private enterprise was wholly subservient to the interests of the German state if it was deemed 'parasitic' instead of 'productive'.

A real Fascist or Nazi candidate would be if you mixed Bernie Sanders and Trump, and you got someone who was more socialist than Bernie Sanders, and more ethnocentric/white-nationalist than Trump. And also wanted to murder all the Mexicans and then conquer Mexico.

It's also hilarious that conservatives have become so fucking conservative that Trump is viewed as 'left-wing'. Yes, he is much further to the left than conservatives are now, but at this point so is Ronald Reagan for fuck's sake.

Your last paragraph is absolutely laughable. Coming from a socialist, who wrongly thinks Germany is a socialist state to be admired, you can't discern conservative principles in any other way, since they are all so far removed to the right of you. My argument consisted of me defining what Fascism actually is to you because you clearly have no idea in spite of paying tens of thousands of dollars for a degree on the subject.

Also I never said Germany was socialist, they aren't. But should we be more like Germany? Absolutely. Your average German citizen is happier, healthier, and just generally better off than your average American citizen. I mean they actually exercise political control over their own government, that's a plus, right?
