I would venture to say atleast 50% of the the emu community is asperger/autistic.

So you're not alone.

As a spectrum condition everyone falls somewhere under the diagnosis.

Long time ago I correctly diagnosed my friends GF as having asperger(they went to the doctors and got the diagnose just a lil later on)
I had no idea about asperger, I just googled all the quirks and it matched up.
Good luck!
And hope you doing well Cecily <3

It was at this point I decided to no longer be kind to the casuals as they have extreme short term memory. They did this to themselves, unfortunately.

Modern culture is obsessed with labeling and identifying everyone. Stop it. Just be you and enjoy yourself.

Not sure if OP was trolling or not but whatever.

I heavily suspect that I have aspergers/autism/whatever and was never diagnosed. I understand they don't really diagnose adults with it anyways.

I was looking into the symptoms when we suspected the same of our son. Everything just clicked. My whole life just kinda clicked together and it explains so much of how I am. On the one hand, it was very relieving to know there is a reason that I am the way I am. On the other hand it was depressing to feel like it's never going to change and I'll always be this way. I've been able to lead a mostly happy and fulfilling life despite the struggle so I guess all is well that ends well. I guess I've gotten really good at 'faking it' over the years and I doubt most people who know me as an acquaintance would suspect.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nope, no trolling. Thanks for being the one of the few to take my post seriously.

I Was away for the remainder of the week on a camping trip. When it comes to social situations I too have become extremely good at faking it. However there are many times where I'm pretty much unable to understand some social aspects of peoples lives.

I too am not officially diagnosed but am currently seeking counseling with an Autism specialist to get a better understanding for how to work around the issues. I can relate that it's good to know why, but yes, it is also kinda deflating to know that I have limitations.

We have a lot of transvestites on this server. Not sure about autists though.
