Working transparency patcher?

Is there a working transparency patcher out there? I really want to get rid of black boots and have helmet visors back.

I can't seem to get the patcher to work without the HD change as well. Really not a fan of they HD characters.

I’ve tried using this installer to no avail as well. Does it work for you?
