the short answer is that the wavecrasher is probably worth it, especially for lower lvls. its a great twinking item.

the price tag on them is dropping. don't expect to resell this item for a profit in six months.

I love my wavecrasher. If that kind of money isn’t hard to come by for you, get it. If acquiring that much money would be a huge struggle for you, save the money for other items.

I personally use wavecrasher and infestation and am very happy with them. I used to use WESS, but it really annoyed me that I couldn’t move away from blind mobs without them running off.
