Default For the Paladin and Shadowknight Best of the Best...

The winners of both should have one final duel against each other. The ultimate clash of light vs darkness! I've always wondered which was the more effective PvP class of the two knights.

Very fun idea but in practice Lay on hands should make the Paladin win easy. If we ruled out use of LoH and HT I believe it could be a good fight. Maybe root would be a big factor?

This would be pretty entertaining to see. I agree it should be no LoH and no HT to keep it more interesting. Although paladin blinding is pretty op if he can get it to land.

I used to dual my paladin brother on my sk around luclin era on live and we were both early 40s. He always won once he got blind to land cause...well...I couldn't see shit.

Back on live (2000), on Tallon Zek, one of the most memorable experiences was running through Iceclad ocean as my 35-40 something druid, and seeing a lvl 60 dwarf paladin with velious custom armor and a lvl 60 dark elf shadow knight jousting, was my first time seeing real high level PvP. I was safe from both of them due to the level difference but it was great to watch, the paladin did end up winning in the end!

SK would win, unless the shadowknight was inexperienced at pvp.

All it has to do is tap and save harm touch for after the paladin lays hands.
If the SK comes out and blows harm touch it's game over, paladin could win.

Round should open with both shooting off bow to hit each other before they lock into jousting, with attempted arrow shots in between jousts..

So some people say the paladin will obviously win, and some the SK.. and even if it WERE one sided.. it would still be a good fight. DO IT

They shouldn't be allowed to use weopons, clickies, disc's & ranged attacks. Should also take out spell casting.

Much better.
