Well that would be because the server didn't go down. Just lagged really badly.

Server maintenance restart last week happened and he didn't spawn as well, which is not correct. He should be the same as lodi and stormfeather where if the server goes down he should be up

This encounter is a shit show and today Rustle decided to be the only guild to not "ok" a /random then proceeded to secure the kill bringing wizards to out damage everyone else

who got the first engage? we will never know, pls add yellow txt before the petition cue fills up

Kinda like awakened agreeing to random until an AM person won the random last week.

I have yet to be at any of these 'show downs' - I have only heard the horror stories and its all he said she said so please cut the finger pointing

Slap yellow text on this NPC and let the players go ham, they know how to behave when things shout a name of who engaged first...the rest will police itself.

PS: /randoming for this mob each spawn is dumb and not the solution either, I disagree that it should ever be rolled but in this current state of affairs without a yellow text FTE its near impossible to determine who engaged first so /randoming isnt the worst idea but it still is pretty bad considering how you can exploit people's good nature

Has anyone looked into how this behaved classically? If it was a static spawn on a set timer then keep it that way and add an FTE message. Some research is needed.
