Red asterisk under Ping bar

I'm new to P99 but not new to EQ.

I've recently started a toon on p99 and was playing it with no issues.

I'm now having huge issues with lag that doesn't stop after any optimization i do.

I also noticed a red asterisk under and to the left of my ping bar. My bar and numbers are all in the green and there are no spikes.

Any insight and help is much appreciated.
