Default LQ Pelt farming advice wanted

Hello all,

I'm looking for a piece of advice about where to go to farm pelts to make Leather Paddings

I've been to EK but gorge hound, doggos & cats seem to be dropping ruined ones mostly. Thought about SK & NK, but I'm not convinced.
Some people mentioned Stonebrunt on allakhazam and other websites, not sure the drop rate on P1999 is as good as it was on live (double pelt drop seems too good to be true) ?

EC seems ok with lots of dogs, cats, bears & some spiderlings and is also conveniently close to Freeport where I will be Blacksmithing.

Thanks for your suggestions

Also, get yourself a skinning knife so you can turn med and hq pelts into low quality pelts.

I always found Misty Thicket to be the best for farming pelts, personally. I'd say it largely varies depending on what class you're farming with though.

Depending on your level and ability to kill quickly, the cats in Stonebrunt mountains have absurdly good droprates, dropping a LQ pelt or better ~70-80% of the time. Never got a double drop though. When I did cultural smiting this was my hunting grounds with my 60 shaman doing the killing with a pet. Highly recommend

Tzither got a 60 mag or 40 twinkled rng on farming duty, in both cases, mobs tend to die quite fast

Holy ranger paradise batman,

How can I have ignored this place for so long?
Almost guaranteed pelt drop, lots of blue on animals to panic and get exp from

Well the only downside is getting there and crossing the Warren's which Is a major pita...

Thanks for pointing me in that direction, already got almost 4 stacks of leather padding done after a couple hours spent there
