WoT is great drama.

It's a cool idea 2 i can't spoil it.

only people who don't really know and havent read all 50 million words say it's bad

i love u gustoo but u totally didnt even acknowledge time travel or how rand is his own dad and how there are other mysterious things in that universe that even the DO (dork one) is vulnerable 2, but probably wouldd devour that planet, i think they visit a bunch of dead planets in one book lol

I reread the series every time a new book came out starting in about 1996. I think the first book I read 11 times.

The show won't do the books credit. I enjoy the show for what it is, another person's interpretation on Robert Jordan's work.

I found the first 3 episodes worthwhile without having a huge expectation for them. I feel non autistic-level nitpicky(about the differences between show and books) people will also.

They are already referencing the Chosen (Ishmael) - I think it will be pretty interesting later when the real baddies start to show themselves (and there are a bunch of them). So far I am pleasantly surprised by the series. The casting of Matt, Perrin, and Rand seem pretty good now that ive made it through 3 episodes (was iffy at first). The only thing I don't like is Lan is an Asian samurai and not Conan the Barbarian. In my head I always produced Aes Sedai as Ace Sedai and not Eye Sedai so that's a bit annoying. I also simplified Egwene's name to Gwen in my head and not You Gwaine or whatever the fuck they are calling her

There is a lot of really good story they have to draw on and while this wont be the next Game of Thrones, its good for us nerds who read the books.

Also, LulzSect is a bald psycho who should be perm banned from the forums (sorry you're fat)

For me Lan was a lot more Jaime Lannister but with an inch wider jaw than that rather skinny head actor from GOT

Arnold would have done it but he was an armor wearer not an axe wielder I don’t think Arnold buffness was called for.

Definitely more of a paladin to me. Maybe Huge Jackedman from 10 years ago?

They described him as “all planes and angles” about a thousand times. It’s hard to get a human to look like Batman the animated series Bruce Wayne but with blonder hair and bluer eyes
