Default Your spells file

Your spells file is outdated.
Please visit project1999.org
and get the latest files from
the getting started post.

I went there :

Downloaded the P99Files30.zip pasted all in EQ folder. Still have the error character-message.

New patch today. So that post hasnt been updated. Goto link download patch at top and extract it to your P99 folder.

I'm having this issue. I download the files but when i go to extract them the file opens. It has Resources uifiles eqhost etc. Im not sure how to "extract' them or if im only supposed to extract one of them or if i just put all of them in the EQ files. please help.

Open up the zip file and there is a extract to button at the top. Click that and find your EQ folder and extract all the files to it. If you did it right it will ask you to override files hit yes to all and your done.

I found out maybe 3 minutes after I posted here but I didnt deleted in case some people are so dumb as me. I know may brother will take 3 hours to understand that!

I am having the same issue , I get an error to most commands after I hit Yes to all. Any suggestions?

run decompression software as administrator

Yeah I got tired of using the launcher. Just wiped all of EQ off my computer. time to do a full reinstall

i think im one of the only people not using duxa's patcher, and it caused me alot of issues this time around. finally i can play, so if anyone is having similar issues i can try to help. pm me.
