seafuries
word on the street is that gems are kinda rare off seafuries on green? i remember blue droprates were kinda nuts; sometimes you'd get up to 3 gems. if this is true then kinda glad market won't be so saturated with plat.

The current seafuries on Green are that of blue's change. Alot of changes (both system and mob/loot) that were made to blue over the course were affixed to Green from the get-go. I too thought they might mimmick their "Adjustments" over time but does not seem the case.
I've probably killed 100-120 seafuries since I hit 50 and I can confirm I've gotten maybe 7-8 Fire Opals, 10 star ruby, 8 sapphire and a handful of fire emerald + vendor gems --- they drop nothing but toes/mugs >50% of the time.

You won’t see those ruby crowns and sapphire necklaces. Sad!

They are good solo exp. Dabbling a bit there now at 44. I need three Star Rubies to make my last few Cha pieces. I could see myself sticking around through to 50. The ambiance is nice but there are certainly far more interesting and challenging solo camps.
Gem drops are certainly nerfed. There's some plat, but it's more difficult and probably less plat per hour than Hill Giants. Well, since some of the Seafury gems are not yet sold by merchants, there may be a premium selling to players if you have the patience
