No. There won't be a north or south. People won't be conscripted. There won't be a secession. The violence will be more random. People won't line up in fields and there won't be a victor. There won't be two governments. It will be civilians vs civilians. Then it will be the government vs civilians.

You're right everyone loses.

During the civil war, there was a military and government on both sides.

It'd be more like revolution. Than civil war. Not even revolution so much.
