I'm going to clarify this because some people can't read well or english isn't their first language.

The civil war was not OVER (as in, not started due to) slavery. This is a fact.
The civil war was about slavery. sure, ok, one could say that. This can also be considered a fact but means something different.

Why do mostly American people feel the urge to say things like WW3 and civil war every 4 years around election time? I really don't think either Trump or biden would allow this to happen.

I was browsing some of the 2016 election year content and that's when I noticed people bringing up these topics.
