Yea, among melee classes haste isn't as important for knights. It's more important than for bards but that's about it. Here is the haste-cap per level from the wiki
1-30 50% 31-50 74% 51-54 84% 55-59 94% 60 100% If you have an enchanter in the group at level 53 they can cast A.Quickening which is 64% haste. That caps you through level 54 (86%). At level 55 though you are under-cap. You will need better worn haste to hit the cap. At least 30% if trying to eek every little bit of dps out of your toon. At level 58 enchanters get Wonderous Rapidity which is 70%. Again, with silver chitin handwraps and level 60 you are only 8% under cap. Not ideal but not horrible. Many enchanters will want to cast Shiss or VoG if they have it for the added benefits (in lieu of less haste) and duration but still the boring store bought spell will get ya close. For a DPS class missing that extra haste is a problem. For a tank that relies on white damage to help with aggro it is as well. Flash of Light/Stun will create all the aggro you will need. As a solo player or someone who groups with a shaman worn haste is definitely more handy. Then again, outlasting a mob (aka the solo pally) is more important. Get used to clicking that DW helm and jousting. Don't worry about your dps. | ||
