Very strange. I was playing earlier today and now I try and log in I get this error. Game won’t load.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Need me some of that 35% exp.

I hoped it was that easy. Game still won’t start.

Was able to fix the dsetup.dll by unzipping the new spell files to the new install I just did.

But still having issue with above. With my program files installs.

Program files\everquest files won’t work.

Did reinstall on just C:Everquest

Anyway I can get my UI layout transferred to new install? Buttons and whatnot.

In the main EQ directory, you want to copy two files

UI_CharName_project1999.ini
CharName_project1999.ini

Try right clicking eqgame.exe and clicking compatibility options. Switch it to XP compatibility.

Give that a try, recently i had instability with Win 10 and this seemed to sort it for me.
