gnoll fang quests

Anyone have info on whether the gnoll fang quests are present on green? Both of the NPCs in halas and qeynos failed to display quest text aligned with p99 wiki expectations and also didn't give exp or faction when I gave a fang.

On a side note, i'm curious how many quests are like this and potentially were very different at launch or didn't exist. I wonder how info will be shared once we go live.

Also super excited for this green server!!!

Gnoll fang exp is REALLY good prior to mid kunark.

Did alot of testing with Gnoll Fangs in Qeynos. They do work and do give pretty good XP considering the levels that gnolls can start dropping them. I would recommend saving them until lvls 8-9 (where it is hard to find non green mobs reliably in qeynos hills) They are about 4-5% (1 blue or a little more) at lvl 8-9.

I remember on blue level 30 players killing gnolls for tiny bits of exp.
All new players will never know how gnoll fangs were on blue, just green.

oh i'm apprehensive in qeynos, makes sense. So just the halas quest is not present.

I did not bother testing halas on green. I assume it is there. I know qeynos quest (moonstones) is there. (both parts)

Qeynos Gnoll fangs give 10k exp for the main turn in (part 1) from my observation. Halas gives 25-30k. I'm not sure because I believe it was capped when i tried. But approximately the same xp / fang.

Qeynos version uncaps (gives max exp) at level 6. Halas version probably uncaps at level 10. This is based on total 10% exp penalty (caster). Halas version gives a little more $ / fang.

ok i got this all wrong. Her quest text doesnt align with what's in the https://wiki.project1999.com/Gnoll_Bounty BUT giving her three fangs unstacked does give some exp and an item.

It probably depends on your level / faction what quest text you get, but all 3 quests are always active. (could do gnoll fangs at dubious for example)
