Default Everfrost starting area

Just went to take a look and there are very few mobs. Are there any plans to ramp up the numbers or is the assumption that everyone will run to the Qeynos starting area anyway?

Everfrost is the hardest starting zone
There is like 2-3 random level 1 mobs and 15 level 2 mobs.
Meaning you'll be dieing a LOT on launch unless you group up.
(I recently started a barbarian and was in a death loop)

fun fact: You can level 1-50/60 in everfrost/permafrost alone.

The problem (if you want to call it that) is that the spiderlings, wolves, bears, pups, skeletons, and whelps (and vengefuls) all appear to be on a single spawn table that all spawn points in the glacier except for the igloo spawns all appear to use. If a mass of lvl 1 characters are only killing the lvl 1 spawns, eventually you only have lvl 2 and higher mobs. Once the level of players escalates and folks are killing the higher level spawns, the level spread of the mobs evens out quite a bit.

So, coming from an extremely inexperienced player, I find Everfrost to be the best zone for tradeskilling, especially tailoring and blacksmithing. Since I always try to make my own armor at low levels, I always end up in EP killing spiderlings, wolves and bears by the thousands to get my tailoring up. I head back there when I have enough plat to skill up smithing. I have not found any other zone that is so convenient for smithing, not even Kaladim. Now, this is my own limited experience, so correct me if I am wrong.

The level 2s aren't going to be so bad cause everyone will just group up. The vengeful lyricists though.

I think Toxx is worse, just a goddamned sea of level 2 infected rats and the occasional level one snake that can poison your sad sack 20 HP Erudite wizard. So bad. Oh yeah and it's pitch black haha

Tox is a billion times easier than everfrost from level 1 to 7

Everfrost with the vengeful's really massacre noobs.

It's a hard starting zone but will be benefited by the fact that barbarian is only a min max race for rogue so not going to be super duper crowded. I am excited to see how many people are ogres, elfs, and others too.

On the flip side, once you get to level 2-3, you don't have a ton of level 1 mobs in your way.
Also, polar bear pelts can be turned in for patchwork armor. At level 5 you can run through blackburrow with a full set of patchwork armor, not too bad, better than the humans in qeynos (who can't even craft their patchwork yet because the cats are higher level in wk)
