That's true we do have a good social saftey net for pretty much everyone but the lower middle class. Why does usa get such a bad rap? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
That’s why the informal “social” part of safety net is more crucial now than ever. Networking with other people, especially local people, can result in incredible personal benefits, beyond just learning from them

But you have to be someone that people want to have around, simple as that. Pull that off, and you can almost endlessly network for all sorts of future favors (also requiring similar, at least in spirit if not income, in return)

Of course the easiest favors to get are pre-disaster though, but some people will go all out to help a friend in a disaster too

Video creator won’t let me embed, but the first clip in this is an instant 40man raid wipe on hardcore mode (permadeath) due to a raid mechanic of the first boss of BWL

First I’ve seen a 40 man raid insta-wipe on the official servers, not many bosses I know of that can do that

Yea sounds like her bf accidentally encouraged her to jump to her death lol

Would be icing on the mean cake if he was like “well that sucks honey, back to the starting zone for you, I’m not re-rolling” [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

r/AIOR My bf coaxed me into jumping off a cliff then left me to die with my hobbled ankles so he could finish the trail.
