I'm going to post wine error messages and a screen shot to hopefully help determine what wrong.
Here's my Wine Settings: wine Adv.jpg wine Adv3.jpg Setting the screen resolution to match my eqclient.ini added the "Windows" border to this next image, which use to just be a black screen with the pink and white EULA. Load Screen.jpg Lastly, here's my last run Wine logs. LastRunWine.txt LastRunX11.txt That's it. Thanks for you time and advice

Sorry, I didn't meant to link the Wine run logs that way. Here's an easier way to view them.

You need to install the most current Wine Engine. That solved this exact same problem for me. Also, update Wine itself, and update to the newest Winetricks before you use any. If you messed up starting over is really easy and recommended.

"Your wrapper version matches the master wrapper version... no update needed. Do you want to force an update?" Did you look at the numbers? Is there a later wrapper? Not sure that it matters but I am running OSX 10.6.8. Thanks. I will check the Wine site again to make sure I have the latest wrapper.

So the wrapper is the newest. I don't keep release versions in mein noggin.
Use the newest engine here (at time of post it's 1.7.4): http://www.mediafire.com/wineskin#u3ekk5q5y3fb1 If that link doesn't work, go to: http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/tiki-index.php -> click "Downloads" in the box -> The find "Mediafire.com Wineskin download location" -> http://www.mediafire.com/wineskin -> find the newest one *also download newest Winetricks from the advanced menu

I did notice that in the UI folder of the wrapper mine has "default" and an "old default" folder, which yours did not contain. I tried temporarily moving the "old default" and starting the program but it was the same. I really appreciate all the time and effort that many of you have given to help us Mac users out. I'll check back in when I have more time to dedicate to finding a fix. Thanks again.

Seem to be getting allot of these: fixme:d3d:buffer_PreLoad Too many declaration changes or converting dynamic buffer, stopping converting Thanks

I solved THE EXACT same issue you are having by upgrading the ENGINE, not the WRAPPER, to the most current version. The dude that made the video above did not have this issue, so good for him. But I did, and you are now, and I posted several times on how I solved the issue. I imagine since we are on similarly aged systems, this is an issue for us, and not the dude with the tutorial. Use the wrapper download included at the beginning of this thread, and upgrade the engine as I have suggested. THIS IS A SEPARATE DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION PROCESS which I gave links to in a previous post (and you'll have to upgrade the wrapper too if you are starting fresh). I got all of my tips from the WineSkin forums. They have a compatible gaming database. I cross referenced my errors with their current support forums for games to find glitch parallels. After you install everything as I've instructed, come back and ask me how to get rid of the d3d lag issues, messed up pointer, how to upgrade the textures and whatever else you need.
