Oh and is bind wound worth putting points into and leveling?
Yes, Bind Wound is worth it.

I play an Iksar Shadowknight. You know, Lifetaps and ++Regen? And I still find Bind Wound worth it. I didn't put any points into it, I just bandaged over the course of play.

Solo in a corner and combat BW. Its basically a fungi if you take it high enough (not quite, but its better regen than any item in classic)

Bind wound is an amazing ability from launch to the end of velious. I always made sure I had a backpack full of bandages while leveling and still carry at least 2 stacks at 60 on my warrior. Each stack is almost 1700hp in heals up to 70% once you break past 200. For non-combat it’s nearly 3.5 fungi tunics worth of regen.

Prior to kunark I can’t remember precisely where warriors cap but it’s 1 health per 4 skill.

They’re cheap, light, and dramatically reduce down time.

Minotaur axe is a decent newbie weapon (not magic). If you can't find a player selling one then settle for a regular vendor bought 'axe'. It's close enough to the best ratio vendor weapons but is also super cheap (3pp?). If you need a magic weapon combine weapons are expensive but do have a good sellback value (except the great staff; do not buy!). If you are doing tailoring the tailor made whip isn't awful. If you don't want to spend the Orc taskmaster drops a whip with a passable vanilla ratio.

On p1999 it used to be 100 at 20 through 50 then 210 at 50 (hitting the magical 201 at 57). At some point the cap got smoothed out to be closer to 200ish at 40-50 (still with 57 as the point for 201 iirc) and 210 at 60...

I have no idea if these changes were changes that happened in classic or just tweaks within p99 to refine the bw system to be closer to classic.

You'll definitely be getting at least 100 skill from 20-50 which is 25hp/bandage, which assuming no interrupts is pretty damn close to fungi level healing.

It was at this point I decided to no longer be kind to the casuals as they have extreme short term memory. They did this to themselves, unfortunately.

I’m playing a Wood Elf Warrior. Defiantly put points into str. Once u get some better str gear it’s not that bad and theirs a lot of cheap str armor out there! Also you get the HIDE skill (ghetto Invis)along with forage. And yes like others say they look pretty bad ass in the plate armor. My Warrior is only lvl 26 but I love it.

That knife is so low damage it's better in the offhand IMO...but even main hand it never procs enough. Just find a mage you can blackmail
