there are like 50 people in the entire world who still give a shit about the absurdly unbalanced cluster-fuck known as EQ PVP
you like fighting against other humans? Go play a real grown up PVP game like Rainbow Six: Siege

Eq in PVP sucks, and i really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really wish it didn't
That being said, enable PVP in tov, rewake the sleeper and add pvp there, and add pvp to every legacy item zone on Green 2.0

When I want EQ pvp I just use my Everquest themed custom characters in Soul Calibur 6. I've got Firiona Vie, Lanys T'vyl, and my Iksar Shadowknight with Nightmare's move set.
Totally fills the void.

The only way I could see a PvP server being fun is if it was no rules whatsoever. Allow training and causing intentional exp deaths on your opponents and I'm in. Also full item loot including bag contents. Also zonelines are disabled if you've dealt or received PvP damage in the past 30 seconds to prevent rampant plugging. Don't tell me it's not possible. Anything is possible through christ and code.

When it launches item loot in some form needs to be tried. It's easier to switch it off than add it in later.

Then again this was during the days of dial-up, not sure if faster internet speeds made it harder
