'Emperor Crush' was named 'Emporer Crush' pre-Kunark
Fix for this seems to have gone in around the time of Kunark launch, since the fictiousname9 dumps have the correct spelling.
Pre-Kunark though, his name was 'Emporer Crush'. Screenshot for proof: http://web.archive.org/web/200305010...o/d14img13.jpg There are conflicting spellings throughout the newsgroups and even on Everlore. I think everyone was really confused. Screenshot is hard proof though.

Newsgroups have more on this. All the orcs hail text should spell it like "Emporer" too until it is fixed. Presumably they fixed it all at the same time:

'an emporer fae drake' was misspelled too. Presumably these misspellings were both still active as of July 2000.

Operating assumption at the moment is these misspellings were all fixed in this patch:

Nope I'm wrong. He had his spelling fixed no later than September 2000. Makes sense since it matches the fictiousname9 dumps.

I was thinking of a summer patch that fixed spelling errors as above but I got the year wrong.
It's this one: Quote:

Changed Emperor Crush and the aggro text for relevant orcs for ~Jul2000.
emporer fae drake was already misspelled in db. If it is changed to proper spelling in era, need to know when
