forum account vs game account , question?

Maybe someone can explain like I'm 5 here.
I made my blue p99 account back in 2013 or something. I don't remember what the forum account was or if there even was. The only e-mail I use for "other stuff" is tied to this forum account.

I recently made a 2nd P99 account using the guide on these forums and when I go to the loginserver accounts on the left it only shows this new "2nd account" on the list, the one I have logged into for the past 9 years is no where to be seen in the list.

Is it 100% tied to a different forum account or did I screw up 9 years ago by naming my p99 account and forum account the same thing where it clearly says not to (must have have read that 9 years ago)

I am trying to change my password.

Check your loginserver accounts on http://www.eqemulator.org

I don't know that I've ever logged in there, what account do I use? P99 forum account?

Before P99 was setup to manage accounts, players would create an account on EQEmulator site and then link that account to their p99 account.

You may need to try and do an account/password recovery on the EQEmulator site

Thanks for the advice Kav. Unfortunately that website I have no account on with the only email I ever use for anything. Strange.

Did you try the user name / password that you use for Project1999.com at eqemulator.org? Mine are the same and while it has been a very long time I'm pretty sure they weren't setup independently.
