A niger trigger and some various other salt water fish, the tank has been a bit neglected though. I keep getting algae blooms and it's pissing me off, i think its because im not using RODI water.

Definitely, just waiting until he gets a bit older. Ideally you want to wait a year or so before you start training them so you don't risk joint damage or other injuries.

You and me both.
I'm having problems with my planted tank.
I could use a RO unit to bring down the ph.

When I kept a reef tank years ago I borrowed a scat fish to help clean stuff up and returned him after it got back in ballance

Your dog is adorable. Border collies are just awesome. I had one for 10 years and she could catch frisbees and balls like a mfker. Also very affectionate and smart as hell. Miss her alot. RIP Molly.
