Default Sometimes I zone really slow, but only sometimes

I have P99 installed on a SSD and most of the times i zone in a few seconds and without any issues.

Since playing on P99 green i have been getting times where it can take up to 5+mins to zone. This only happens like 1 in 10 zoning attempts.

Anyone else getting this and have any success in tracking it down and fixing it?

the exact issue is you have too many titanium client zones in your folder that arent utilized by p99 and its slowing you down BIG time

install duxa installer program, run the "cleaner" option that deletes all the unneccesary shit native to titanium but bogs down p99 and isnt needed

then u will zone superfast

- former zone hopping red99 pvp shitter

Do you use wineq2? If not, it usually solves almost every problem altho I will say it sometimes happens to me only much rarer.

Perhaps your network connection is sporadically poor and that's causing slow zoning.

I have already ran the thing that reduces the eq folder size its down to like 1.4GB

I am using WinEQ2 as well with EQplaynice turned on.

So far after changing the compatibility settings for both WinEQ2 and EQgame to WinXP service pack 3 it has not occurred again.

so that didnt really help, like at all.

i was on late last night like 1-4am and i was getting stuck trying to zone during every single zone line. It was working fine during the day previously and works fine today.

My guess is it something internet/ping/connection related but no other games or applications seem to have any issues during the same time. Also EQlive works fine and i zone fine on other EMU servers using Titanium, Underfoot, and ROF2 clients.

i feel like it is internet/ping/connection related as last night when i would get stuck zoning when i try to log back in i would get the following errors which is usually connection related

unknown errror when trying to connect to the server
blank server select screens
1017 error
soft lock when click enter world

after i would try several times i would get in only to soft lock on the next zone line and repeat it all again. I did try to wait it out and see if i would zone but gave up waiting after 10mins.
