Will the game patch automatically once installed?

The installation guide says never to patch the game because you have to do a reinstallation of Titanium. But why a new patches for the game available from the front page of this site?

Not the same thing. You need the patch on the front page to play on p99. You don't run the auto patcher that updates all the files to the newest version.
