Well the problem with this bill , is any time a President wants to enact Marshall law they can . They can pick up groups of people and lock them up with absolutely no rights . So if shit does hit the fan and a group of people oppose the people in power , the people in power can use the military to do away with these people quickly by claiming they are terrorists .

it's almost pointless to even try to stop it, this is the inevitable fate of governments. the heavy foot of government gets bigger and heavier over time inevitably, and when people can't take their shit anymore there's an armed uprising that promises freedom from oppression. the uprising succeeds, establishes a new government and the cycle goes on.
