It's assumed firepot bind will be in place because it was available on "Blue." I don't know that P1999 staff wants to deal with the hassle/workload associated with non-soulbound zone keys. We'll see; it'll be interesting if they put it in.

Does it get patched in shortly?

Does the post-patch situation save a lot of work for GMs/guides?

The choice couldn't be clearer this November: soul-bound keys are in.

Binding at the firepots is probably an extremely easy quick thing to patch in\out given the architecture of the game.

Ugh... between this key nonsense and the myconid spore king, Sebilis at Kunark launch is going to be the one of the biggest sh*tshows in EQ history. Wake me up in ~11 months when Velious is out.

Binding at the firepots is overrated anyway, bind in FV where you can just take a quit boat ride to the firepots, while also having better access to Kunark.
